About ICPAI 2026

2026 International Conference on Photonics and Artificial Intelligence

2026 International Conference on Photonics and Artificial Intelligence (ICPAI 2026) will be held in Hefei, China from December 11 to 13, 2026. The conference focuses on the convergence of the two cutting-edge fields of photonics and artificial intelligence, aiming to establish a high-level platform for exchange among global researchers, industry experts and young scholars. It will facilitate in-depth discussions on key technological breakthroughs and future trends in areas such as optoelectronic devices, intelligent photonic systems, computational imaging, photonic chips, optical communications, and the application of machine learning in optics.

Currently, a new round of global technological revolution and industrial transformation is accelerating. Photonics is emerging as a vital foundation underpinning information transmission, advanced manufacturing, life sciences and health, and quantum technology, whilst artificial intelligence is reshaping research paradigms and industrial ecosystems. The deep integration of these two fields is expected not only to drive innovation in intelligent sensing, edge computing, automated design and high-performance computing platforms, but also to inject powerful momentum into the development of next-generation information technology, smart manufacturing and future network infrastructure. ICPAI 2026 looks forward to bringing together innovative ideas, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and jointly exploring new opportunities for synergistic development.
